Fun photo shoot with my new crestie...

Crazy Snail Lady
Hi all,

I bought this rather nervous olive Harlequin girl about 3/4 weeks ago. She doesn't seem to like me very much - our handling sessions consist of her leaping every which way and me wondering why I didn't just buy another snake instead. :grin01:

Here she is, being more cooperative than I first thought she would be when faced with the camera. This is Haley.

More in the next post...

She's huge! I love her color. Isn't that what they do, jump around?? I met a Gargoyle gecko at a show once because it flew over to me as I walked by.

Thanks guys!

Nanci - yeah, they do jump about a lot, but Haley is definetly wary of me. She's even threatened to bite me. I'm thinking she just needs more time to get used to me.

I think I might be looking for a little friend for her later in the year.

Cute! Mine are only 4g and 8g... but hopefully with the summer I'll see a growth spurt (and then be able to tell whether they're a pair or not... sheesh).
You've gotta love those cresties... they're so adorable.

Wowza that's a big girl, I sometimes forget they get that large because all I constantly see are the wee babies.
I'm sure she'll eventually settle in though, she's good and alert then if she's wary of you.

Thanks everyone!

Haley has been out all evening watching what I'm doing. Cresties are precious. And I adore the chirrupy noises they make.
