haven't posted in a while but thought you would enjoy this - i have one corn, an '09 hatchling - cc from sodeberg - wonderful snake - everything that he was promised to be - anyway , according to munson - it was time to move him from 2 pinks to one fuzzy - he had been taking 2 2 gram pinks every 5 days as ordered then at 24 grams on last weighing , i bought petco's 3 pack of fuzzies which are 5 grams - cecil looked at that mouse like " what in the world is this monster" - i had let him go 4 days over so he was HUNGRY - he took that mouse and i would have guessed if i hadn't read so much that there was no way he could swallow it - period - he took the head finally and got to the front legs and there was one front leg sticking out each side of his mouth as if there was an interstate traffic jam - he then backed all the way up into the top of the feed tub trying to build some point of leverage to get this beast of a meal down - anyways finally after about 15 minutes or so he got it down - went right in his warm side hide and didn't show his face for 48 hours - funny to watch

My little anery just went to a fuzzies for the first time last night too. It is my first snake and I am looking at the snake and the fuzzy and thought there was no way he could get it down. But he went to work and ate it up. It is amazing to watch them eat something that looks so large.

I shared the same thoughts with my first fuzzy feeding. I swear it took him at least 20 min to get the thing down. But now he's my little garbage disposal and this next feeding I'm bumping him to the small adults from Petsmart.
