Kilala
lemme go! I'm sleeping!
I know we've all heard/seen/read about some weird snake incidents, and about people who don't deserve pets, let alone snakes.
but this is really funny.
I was talking with my hairdresser at the beauty salon who knows I keep snakes. Despite all the beauty salon employee stereotypes, she's really cool. She got a corn after hearing me talking about them. She takes great care of it too. but you guys are going to love what i went through today.
Ok, girl hears us talking about our snakes. girl leans over and says "hey I have a snake that im trying to get rid of. could you help me out?" So I decided it wouldn't hurt to look. So, after my haircut, "Diane" (as i found out her name was) brought me to her house. I walked in and, lo and behold, a kenyan sand boa in a viv is on the dining room table.
Apparently she got the snake because her self-help tapes told her to face her phobias in order to get over them. but she's so afraid of the snake, she can't even open the lid of the enclosure. I did, and was greeted by a happy little sandy face. I pulled out the sweetest beast you will ever find. This snake looks great too! well fed, no mites, just not handled much. the enclosure was great too. temps all good, nice size, just perfect. She didn't let me have the enclosure, but the snake I got for free. named her "Sandy".
Is my luck wonderful or what?
PS: I tried taking pics, but she's terrified of the camera. maybe she'll calm down later on...
