tonite i fed my sweetie her second adult mouse since i've had her. i put her in her seperate tank like normal, and she decided to "play" with her food for quite some time before she ate it(it was f/t). she curled around it and made a circle. and then she pushed it with her nose ore than once.the one time she pushed it on top of her body and started crawling like that. i thought all of this to be hilarious. she hasn't done this with any size food before. just thought it was funny.
 
well the 1st time i fed my snake he dipped the mouse in his water bowl lol i any other time he ate he never did that and he tends to look at himself in the mirrior

Lol, I've heard of them 'washing it down' before. But I never heard of a snake who eats mice Oreo-style, Lol.
 
When I'm returning my snakes to the terrarium from the feeding box, I always hover them above their water bowl and perhaps 80% of the time they'll have a drink. I'd never thought about them dipping their food in water before and I've never witnessed it cos I always feed them in a plain box.
 
LOL! my friend has a ribbon snake that will play with its food. it will move it all over the terrarium, once it even stuck it on the side of the wall. :crazy02:
