Genetics text at Half Price Books

A few days ago I dropped into the local Half Price Books. They had a couple of paperback copies of Elrod and Stansfield's Schaum's Introduction to Genetics (4th edition, 2002) for USA $8 each. I have the third edition and like it because of the problems-oriented approach to the subject. So if you are in the market for a good (though not perfect) genetics text at a low price, this could be for you. Christmas is always a good excuse to buy things you want, too. :santa:

If you want a basic genetic book, just search around on half.com or amazon.com. A simple intro to genetics would be helpful for understanding some of the stuff that's talked about.
 
Half Price Books is a chain store that sells used books, magazines, and CDs. Check your phone book yellow pages to see if there is one in your town.

I haven't looked on half.com, but there are copies of Shaum's Introduction to Genetics listed on Amazon.com.
