Well, actually i picked him up at the the flea market along with this little girl whom I am going to say is i believe is an anery motley. I know she is supposed to be het ghost. I was to busy going "dont put them in the tank - their mine!" to listen too closely to what the guy who brought them in was saying. And the shop keeper I bought them from is not into corns so other than us both remembering the het ghost part I am just guessing. She has no black. That dark brown/maroon color on her back is it.

She looks like a ghost motley to me as well! The female ghost motleys, especially from pastel lines, tend to be darker than the males, and her color at this age seems just too pastel and light to really convince me of her being an anery. If it were a male, then perhaps it could be a light anery mot, but I guess we'll know for sure in a couple of years after you breed them!

I agree the first snake is a pastel mot ghost but think the second one looks anery mot. I breed pastel ghosts and the females from my line just don't get that dark or brown - they are darker than the males but in a purple-y way. OTOH I have seen a lot of anery mots that look just like that one. And if you remember they said something about "het ghost" at the store they probably meant anery motley het ghost. Well only breeding trials will tell you for sure and they are both very nice regardless.

Thanks you all for the very nice comments. I am thrilled with them. They both ate well. Probably normal for corn snakes but we have 7 ball pythons in the house so eating well is a good thing! Yes, for any Sci-fi fans they have been named Kahlan and Zedd. And Zedd was only because I couldnt bring myself to call him Richard. My son has snakes named Collin, Frank, and Kenny. Adding a Richard would have just made me giggle.
