Hi everyone. My real name is Mitch. I've owned corns for about 4 years now. I've been on the site before but just decided to join in. Honestly, I just love to look at the pictures of these snakes. The Striped Peppermint corn I seen on this site is the most incredible snake I've ever seen. Congratulations to the breeder who produced it. I'm sure you'll have no problems finding customers for them!
My first corn was an Amel male I got from a pet store. He is incredibly friendly and, as they say, you can't own just one corn snake. Well, after placing an order to Kathy Love for a Sunglow male, a Bloodred male and a Crimson female, I found an awesome Striped Snow at another local pet store. Finally, I picked up a male Crimson at a reptile show.
I was planning on breeding the two Crimsons, however, niether one of them are really good pets. The male thinks he's Chuck Norris, backing himself into the corner, coiled up ready to strike everytime I open his tub, and the female is extremely flighty, thrashing around when being handled and musking. The other snakes are real friendly and calm. Anyone else noticed this with Crimsons?
All right, I guess that was a long enough introduction. I'm looking forward to enjoying this site. See ya, Mitch.
