Hey there,

just wanted to show you one of my first breeding results:

Pairing was: Golddust het. Diffused Striped X Butter het. Diffused Striped. :)

First of all, the head, the transparent belly scales and she's lateral very diffused. :)
Comparing them to a Golddust Stripe from the same clutch, I'm quite sure :) Shown her to others as well.

Here's a Golddust Stripe 66% p.h. Diffused sister:

Thanks Hector, I'll contact you tomorrow to show you all of them as I promised. :)

Fair enough. I was just curious.
Sure, why not :) before their first shed I wasn't sure with the Butter Stripe and one of the Golddust Stripes of that clutch, but after they've shed I could see which is homo Diffused and which one not. This little female here is the only stripe which is diffused, but with 15 eggs i've really beaten the odds. She's so different to the others, very bright and she's got nice colours (real even nicer, hard to catch), and I guess she's going to be a good feeder :D

Not a big fan of stripes (I'm weird :) ) But I love what the diffused has done to her head patteren! Beautiful girl!!

Awesome! But I have to be a nay sayer. If both parents aren't visual bloodreds you can't be 100% sure that is a goldust stripe bloodred. Some het bloods look almost identical to visual bloods but aren't homo for the gene. I've seen het bloods with bald heads, very reduced belly patterns and even some slightly diffused sides. (And yes I know everyone is calling the bloodred gene diffused now but I still call it bloodred and so do many others.) I'd still say that's probably a blood, but ya never know when they are produced from hets.

Haven't been here for a long time, but thought it might be time to show some pics of her - one year later ;)
I must say I'm really sure that she's hom. Diffused. Head, transparent ventralia at the beginning which got creepings later, progression compared to the "normal" Golddust Stripes from the same clutch and so on... ;)

But here she is now:
