I registered here a good long while ago and never got around to posting. At all. Whoops...
I've had my little one for nearly a year now. Mouse is a 2010 butter motley from Jenny over at Mojave Reptiles. She's my first snake and having her has been quite the experience. The day she came home, a big ole snowstorm took out the power in my neighborhood and so I spent several many sleepless hours huddled by the fire with her and a digital thermometer. Gave her a quiet week to herself afterwards, and then learned what a completely uncooperative baby she was when she musked, flailed, struck, and flat out refused to go into her feeding container. But she of course mellowed out nicely with lots of patient handling. She's... relatively well-behaved these days. She has her extra-wiggly days and I doubt she'd think twice about pooing on me again...
At 14g and completely terrified of me:
A little older and just as cute:
Just thinkin' 'bout Mouse things:
Goofing around today:
I also keep an adult ball python (but sadly have no photos that do his pretty face justice), and may or may not add another corn to my family soon. They're just so unbearably adorable
