The Rule Of Thirds.
He hasn't logged onto CS since July, but for those of us who also know him from "The Source" and from Facebook, Chris "CMLReptiles" LaViola is, this very night, enjoying his last night of civilian freedom as he begins his service to his country. I thought we could give him his props and our gratitude for defending us.....

Best of luck, Chris, and keep us posted!

My admiration for the men and women of our armed forces is unending! Thank you!

Physical acquaintance, virtual acquaintance, or other... We are all fighting the good fight as one, some more than others, and I wish you the absolute best while you fight for family, friends, and strangers alike. Salute to you, and may you return safely!

thanks a ton. know the feeling of a family going through it, so be sure to talk to your mom as much as you can in any form. i know it made my mom more sane to even get a call or letter once a week. keep safe and remember your greatly appreciated here.

I do not know you Chris but my best friend is in Iraq and I'll tell you the same thing I tell him. Be care and come home safe. I thank you for what you are doing and I wish you luck and safety.

Chris is from my neck of the woods, just a short drive away.

May God be with you and all our men and women serving our great country.

I remember so well the first time I met Chris! It was at a Florida CS.com get together at Reptile World Serpentarium. He's such a cool person with an immense knowledge of snakes. It was so fun getting the King to hood up!

Take care, Chris, thank you for serving our country. Be careful. I'll be thinking of you!

Wow, just happened to come across this thread! Thank you everybody! Home now for a few weeks for x-mas, then I back for a few weeks and finish my training. It's been a humbling experience to say the least, and I've very proud to wear this uniform and serve the people of this great country!

and Nanci, I was telling the king story a couple nights ago at Gino's (lost world reptiles) x-mas party to the Love's lol

Glad to see you home with family for Christmas. Thank you for wearing the uniform and shouldering the burden that comes with it!!!

Also a stranger, but a former Army brat. THANK YOU and your family for your service. I hope that you and yours have the Merriest of Christmases!!!

It was great seeing you at Gino's house on Saturday...

and AMAZING that you could be so cheerful about joining the infantry! I am really happy that you are so positive about doing what could be a very dangerous job in serving our country. My hope is that you will return to your family safely, with the experience and education that will serve you as well in your future as you are serving your country now.

Have a great holiday, and good luck in your new career!

Congratz on making it through a tough test!

And thank you for serving us all!

And yes, keep in close touch with your family, especially your parents!
