Hi,
I've recently been to the expo in Wheaton, IL and was wondering if there was any other good shows in Illinois.

The next quarterly show in St Louis (which is where we So. IL folks go) is Dec 28.. .wow, this Sunday, I believe! It's from 10am until 3pm at the Holiday Inn Southwest (Viking) at the intersection of So. Lindberg & Watson in Sunset Hills. There is a $6 cover charge.

I plan on attending and I believe Bekkers is planning on having a table there....

next year in the summer they have 1 in chicago AND if you are willing to go out of state they have 1 in des moines, IA

While the expo in Wheaton is great & the only regular show that I know of that you're going to find, there is an annual one in Tinley Park which is ridiculously huge -- NARBC, held every Oct. Just google that & you'll find out all that you need to know about it...:) I think that we're pretty lucky to have such a great expo as the Wheaton one (All Animal Expo) twice a month! And while it's got a lot of the same vendors most of the time, it does have a bit of variety to it, as well...the number of times that I almost walked away with another cat or a dog! :p

The Tinley Park show is one of the best in the whole U.S., in my opinion. It is probably my favorite show of the whole year. Daytona is bigger, but I enjoy Tinley Park more.

There is the Wheaton Show (twice monthly), the Lake County Show (once monthly), Tinley (annual), ReptileFest (annual), Sewerfest in WI (twice yearly), Indie Show, IN (monthly, with an Expo in early Nov) and a few smaller shows that pop up from time to time. I've worked all of these shows with my favorite being Tinley. I wish you had come to visit when you were at the Wheaton show. I don't have a lot of animals left this time of year but I still try to make every show. It's fun to be surrounded by people with similar interests.
