I may be aquiring some gopher snakes. How strong and crafty are these guys? I dont need them getting loose and eating my dogs pups. Ill be housing them like my corns in large plastic tubs.

Very strong! I used to have a 6'+ bull (close relative to gophers) that would push so hard at the top of his tank that it would cause the entire thing to rock on the stand.
