Wilder
Y HALO THAR
We went to the Midwest Reptile show today and browsed around for about half an hour before deciding on the newest member to our zoo. It was a pretty small show, and I was told this was due to Thanksgiving. I guess people didn't feel up to driving all over again. Especially when there wasn't the promise of turkey at the destination.
Anyway, I had originally wanted a male Okeetee, but came home with a stunning little girl instead. It goes to figure... of the three we were thinking hard over, the one we liked best was the female!
She was bred by Southwest Wisconsin Reptiles and I was told she has eaten three times already. While being sexed and then later placed into her new home, she tried to get away but didn't even look as if she was thinking about biting. I hope that's a good sign.
Now we need to come up with a name. Yay.
