Growth

So this may be a dumb question but I'm curious on the growth of our snakes. Do they just grow with each shedding or do they get bigger between sheddings? I'm asking because since I've had Samson he seems to be much thicker. He was underfed. Given one pinky once a week. He should be eatin hoppers, which he starts with his next feeding but he had a big furry last feeding.

I'm just wondering if I'm crazy and exactly how they grow

They grow, it's just when they shed, they've sort of stretched that old skin to capacity and it can no longer keep up with them. They're growing all the time, shed just makes it more obvious.

Okay! Sorry I felt like that was a dumb question but I was honestly curious. Thank you

There's a percentage of the weight of their food that they are expected to keep in body weight after each feeding. I think it's 5% but I'm dumb at remembering numbers so it could be 15%. Lol.
