Hey my snake is almost 5 months old and is 14 inches. I'm afraid that i might have stunted his growth because i've heard that snakes grow the most when they're young. I've been feeding him a fuzzy/2 pinkies every week but I've heard of feeding them every 4 days. If I start feeding my snake every 4 days will he pick up the growth rate?. Also will he grow to be full size? or will he be smaller? I don't want my snake to be a runt so please help me out.:(

I wouldn't worry too much. If all your snake can handle is a fuzzy or two pinkie mice, then I don't think you're stunting his growth. He's not showing ribs or folds of skin is he? If he's overall healthy, then I wouldn't worry. Some snakes have their growth spurt later, while others have it sooner, or some don't have one and stay relatively small (like the ones from lower keys in Florida). You can try feeding more, since at 5 months it should be around his prime growing stage, but also remember it's still winter, and beginning of breeding season, so he might not be all that interested in food yet, plus feeding too much can lead to stress and regurgitation. When it gets warmer, he'll probably start gobbling down everything you give him, just give him some time.

Also, make sure the mice you're feeding are 1- 1 1/2 times the width of your snake at his widest part.

I think that he is fine as long as he is not skin and bones. Corns vary alot in their growth rates... I have an 7 and a half month old corn that is 28-29 inches long, he has eaten 2 times a week since i got him at 1-2 weeks old. On the other hand i have a corn that is a year and 5 months old and he is only 24 inches long. He wasn't raised by me but as from the time i bought him he has eaten on the same schedule as the other corn. both are males. and to take the example further i have a female that is 2 months older than the smaller male and she is 36 inches long having been fed on the same schedule until recently. Good luck with you little corn :)

also, if you want to try feeding him more just go for it the worst he can do is refuse, right?

;)
