Grumpy Shiro?

My new corns tank is at 82 degrees, I was told to keep it at 80-85 degrees during the day, and 75 at night.
Well, today with it at 82 degrees he seems a little grumpy, but is also burying himself under his bedding-which is new for him.

I have only had him since Sunday, but he hasn't buried himself like this before? Am I just overly paranoid since he's my baby, or do I need to adjust the temperature?

I think it's a bit low (but safe anyway). Try rising it about a degree.
Anyway, he probably isn't grumpy, just exploring around. As long as you provide a hot and a cool end so he can thermoregulate he'll be ok.

Corn snakes will burrow, as well. If you have aspen you wake up in the morning with a lot of substrate caves. Oh, and they mess the bedding around. I mean a lot if they have the day. If it's new to him maybe he's just enjoying it.
