Habanero and Serrano, Super Pueblacorn Update

CaptBogart

False Prophet
As I was looking for pics to post in the Hybrid thread, I realized I haven't taken pics of them in some time. It was a nice sunny day out so I took them out to play on the banana plant.
Super Pueblacorn = Super Corn X Pueblacorn

Serrano, 0.1 Super Pueblacorn het Amel

Gorgeous snake! Oh how jealous I am of the'... you still have green vegetation on the ground, and a beautiful snake to take outside and photograph.

That is one AWESOME looking snake Cap'n! Those stretched saddles are very unique!

Thanks! I'm going to breed her to an Ultramel next year as she's het Amel, so hopefully those saddles are passed on...

Man...I still love that boy!

It's funny that I look at Caramels and always say, "Man I wish they stayed that color", and he's pretty close, definitely one of my favorite boys. He's got a full dance card in '10, as he was still pretty shy this year, so hopefully we'll get these projects kicked off and get some mini peppers with his looks.

Thanks, yeah the hibiscus is still blooming and the bananas are still growing new leaves. I think we still have another month before it gets cold enough to put the snakes in natural brumation...

I have got to get some new pics of their brothers and sister. They all look similar, but sooo different. Your pepper sibs are hot!

Cool, I can't wait to see how they are coming along.

Serrano is BEAUTIFUL. Where did you get her?

They were both produced by Doovoo, another member on CS.

That's true, but he won't be producing anymore... because Kathy here ^ grabbed the rest, including the sire, lol...

Unfortunately, the sire died in brumation last winter. I feel terrible. He was a gorgeous wide stripe amel super corn. What I find interesting in all his offspring is how little they look like corns, when they are more than 50% corn. I have hopes for crossing my Nelson's/corns into this line as well as some other jungles, super corns and pure Pueblans. So much to play with!! We may have to swap F2 or F3 babies at some point to really develop some new looks.

Sounds like a plan as I'm going to try breeding the male to my Albino RuThayeri, KT's Pueblacorn, the Holbrooki/Fl King, and the female to an Ultramel and my Lavender Fl. King at some point. I might try working my Sinaloan in there somewhere, maybe with Sinacorn offspring instead... Lots of projects to keep me busy for years I think...

Same here! These guys and my Christmas blood project will be my primary goals for a number of years. Can't wait to see what you get out of your crosses next spring. :dancer:
