Habitat question?

Our hatchling is in a Viv with a wooden hide (which he never uses), and some moss, he sometimes hides under that but spends most of his time hiding under the paper on the bottom of the tank. Other than his water dish there is nothing else in the Viv.

When he does come out he tries climbing up the glass sides, can we put in a small branch from one of the tree's in our garden. I just get the feeling he would like something to climb on.

Grateful for any advice.

Moz:)

Yes...

But it must be disinfected first. I believe the preferred way is to bake the wood in the oven. I am not sure about the temperature or the length of time needed, however. Hopefully someone will post that info for you.

Also, the wood MUST be secure so that it cannot fall over and hurt your snake.
