Hakkar progression + fresh shed!

Corn snake noob!
Hello all :)

It's been a while since I've posted here but when I went to change Hakkar's water dish/humid hide I noticed that he finally shed for me! I've been crossing my fingers it would be soon, and it happened!

Also, he's been moved to my bf's/Jessicat's parent's house for now; I've been visiting my parents more frequently and for longer periods of time, and I don't feel comfortable leaving him alone (and I didn't really want my roommate to look after him since she'll be on vacation in a week). Plus Jessicat will be able to see how the little bugger's doin :D He's a bit small for my liking but I only have pinkies on me, I'm grabbing bigger prey for him at the upcoming expo. He's also refused food while in the blue so I bet he's looking forward to the next meal ;)

I'm also sorry for the terrible image quality, all I had on me was my phone

Perfect shed! Eye caps and tip are all there

Victoria!! Great to see you posting.

I'm glad he shed for you!! Did you make a moist hide with paper towels? I'm pretty sure you can get Sphagnum moss at the Petco in the Clackamas Promenad.

Hakkar's looking great! You can double up on pinkies for his next couple meals. The expo is less than a week away now, so it won't be too long until you can start bumping him up! I'm betting that he'll enjoy a nice new bigger home as well.

I'm glad he's at my folk's house! That means that when I come home this weekend I can see him again and take some pictures of the cute little guy. I'm excited by that. Judging by the picture it looks like he's in my room! Or were you just taking pictures in there because the lighting is better and (believe it or not judging from that photo) it's less cluttered? :p

Oh man, I want to take some glamor shots of him in the front yard! I can hardly wait! :dancer:
