Hallo everyone!
I was was recommended to this forum by a collector that I trust and from my lurking I really like the community.
For a little background, when I was younger I volunteered my time at a natural science museum which featured both local and invasive species in the area. I helped care for and educate guests on the species, from insects and reptiles to birds and mammals. Of the snakes that I was lucky to take care of , my favorite and the easiest to handle during lectures and was our corn snake. He was very relaxed, easy going with being touched by the guests, and was just beautiful.
Now, years later, I am ready to own a corn snake. I am doing as much research as possible to be a good owner and have a happy snake and later I would love to start a breeding project as I didn't know before how many different morphs there were (Palmetto why are you $2k, so beautiful). I am planning on going to a reptile show in Sacramento in 2 months so I am hoping to have a set up ready in that time to bring a corn back home.
I hope to learn more from this forum and meet some new people!
