hampster and snake live together

Personally I am wondering what is wrong with the snake for it to not be interested. That hamster seems the right size... maybe wrong smell??

But hamsters can lay a hurting on a snake. I'd not keep it that way permanently.

But mind you, its typical of the Japanese Culture, they like having stuff like this, they really like humanizing their animals, like a lot of Americans love doing.
Thank god, some of people who run zoos here in the US do not do this. Most snakes are fed F/T prey. Plus if something like this did happen, there would be to much of a cry out from Wildlife groups here in the US.
