hamsters and cornsnakes in the same room

do you think my cornsnake would be able to smell my hamster which is in the same room as it, its just that it hasnt been handled for about 2 weeks because it was in shed and then it was being fed im just a bit curious as to whether im to expect the snake to strike at me or bite because of the hamster.

We used to have some of our rodents in the same room as our snakes (now they are in the next room due to space). I never noticed any of our snakes attempting to bite because they smelt them. I'm not saying that it isn't possible, but if your snake has already been fed, then I think it is unlikely.
