Yes you can take your snake outside. I photograph and let the next door neighbor kids hold mine out there, and they're still around! The light shouldn't bother them either unless it's on till all hours.
 
I don't know about the ney bright light, but I take my corns outside all the time. It will definitely affect them, they love it! :cheers:
 
I take my corn outside too. He seems to love it. I think the fresh air is good for him. Thats where he became socialized because of all the attention he got. I think the sunlight really shows their natural beauty.
