Handling

My snake is about six months old. How often should i be handling him? And for what period of time? He is a little over a foot long so he is still kinda hard to handle. I cant just let him slither around the house.

when i feel like putting amy down, i put her on my bed. that way she can roam around but has a limited space.

thats what i do too that way he cant really go anywhere but can still roam around a little bit. how often do you hold yours?

There isn't really a "should" - it's however long the snake will tolerate it, coupled by whatever is convenient for you (apart from no handling for 48 hours after eating).

My gang get handled once a fortnight, to be put into their feeding tanks.

well good news! Ive been holding him more and when i go to put him back in the cage he tries to get out. And when i shut the cage he tries to push the top open so at least he doesnt just hide when i put him back in like usual!
