Handling

hey guys just wanted to know a bit more about general handling...my corn is SOOO curious, while I'm handling her she always tries to go to the ground or to wander around to other places besides my own body. I don't want to give her that kind of "freedom" because I know she would escape for sure (so fast)...So my question is: If the way to handle them is to give them space and not to lead them, how do I manage not to go against her will? How do you keep your snakes near you while handling?

I just guide their heads back toward me if they start getting away. Or I just pick it up again. It's not a big deal to "go against" her will. Just let her crawl around on your arms or whatever and if she's getting too far then gently guide her back.

Corns are like you describe by nature. You just to handle then, hand over hand sometimes and guide them as stated above.

Good luck.
