Hatchling Substrate

Research has already show Aspen as the best substrate, but what about very very young snakes, born in April.

Do these youngsters need something different?
:shrugs:

Aspen works for corns of any age. Lots of folks around here are fond of the Kaytee brand, but it doesn't matter much to me either way.

I use kitchen towel for hatchlings. It's clean, cheap, easy to replace and the hatchlings can be found easily and quickly.

I like aspen for baby snakes. They love to burrow under there, especially since hides are so big for them.
