I had babies about 2 weeks ago, they have all had their first shed in fact one has shed for a second time. They will not eat for me, i have tried braining and cutting. Any advice? I read that if they are still having bowel movements they may not eat? Sorry for all the questions. I bought my snake on mothers day and she was suppose to be a he... and the result was 17 babies. I know nothing, except for what i have read, and the local pet stores advice. Any help is greatly accepted and much much welcomed.

I have babies that refused to eat. Some were 2 months without eating. Nanci has some great thread on how to get a fussy eater to start. I found boiling the pinkies and then taking the pinky and the snake sticking them in a paper bag and using chip clips to close it worked best. Just thaw out a pinky. Get your kettle going. Put the pinkies in until they turn white and drain and serve. Good luck. I usually feed them at night before I go to bed. Leave them in a secure spot and check them in the morning.
