I gave my boy a bigger mouse today and when he was at the middle of it he spit it out, what should I do? should I try today to feed him again with a smaller one? or wait for tomorrow

Feed him a smaller one today. Often I feed my kings a double smaller item. Like Choco should be eating a medium mouse, but I give her double hoppers. They usually can't follow the Munson plan in prey size, so for kings I usually go with a total weight of smaller prey, up to triple.

I have found the same thing with my king. She just can't handle prey as large as what my spotted python (who is nearly the same size) can. At the most recent feeding I gave her two small fuzzies weighing 4 and 6g each and the python one large fuzzy weighing 10g. So far it seems to be working well.
