Ok so I was just holding my baby corn snake for a few minutes for the first time.
And he POOPED on me. It was this gross whiteish stuff. Is that normal snake poop????? EWWWWWWWWWW. Why did he poop on me? D8 Was I really THAT scary that he had to poop on me? lksdhfkjsdfhsakjd; grosss.

Anyways when I was holding him i noticed he was making a quiet popping sound.. What does that mean? I mean I've heard it could be an infection in their nose or something but I didn't see any stuff leaking out of his nose.
But he was acting normal, just sniffing around and crawling through my fingers.
So does he have an infection or...? And he like.. Yawned a couple times I guess? He opened his mouth. Maybe he was deciding on biting me or something?? Was he just making this sound because.. he... wanted to poop on me? :l Is he sick? D8

I don't know. But I can't take him to the vet. I have /NO/ Money. And I'm pretty sure there are NO reptile vets here. I had enough trouble trying to find a decent snake.. >.>

So what do I do? Dx
 
Haha, yeah. The first or second time I held my snake, it pooped on my brothers bed. :grin01:
Normal snake poop will have some white, and a bit of brown/black stuff in the middle. And you have to get over the fact that the snake poops, because you are going to have to clean it up.

As for the popping sound, make sure it is coming form his nose. If you are positive his nose makes that noise when he inhales/exhales. Then that might be a possible respiratory infection. I dont know what to tell you, other than to take the snake to a vet. I dont know any remedies to help treat that.
 
Ok thank you, But I'm not really sure if it's coming from his nose/mouth. I just kind of noticed a clicking noise and stuff.... Where else could it be coming from? :l.......
 
I do believe that clicking sounds are respiratory problems. At least call around and see if a vet can recommend something besides going in.
