Headin' to the swamps...

Gig 'Em Ags!! Whoop!!
What up fellow Field Herpers? Heading out to Louisiana tomorrow and hoping to get in a little herping on Saturday (hopefully). Trying to move in a new direction with the whole "instant gratification social media" thing and going to be doing some cool new stuff. I set up a twitter account under the name RuddockReptiles so @ me if you want to follow live updates in the field from my iPhone, and our (Brother and I) website has been updated to include a field herp blog. I'm also going to try and set up a YouTube account tonight so I have that ready to go for the Fall season. Gonna have pictures, accounts, and hopefully even some video coming as soon as Saturday night. So, check it out and check this thread out over the weekend.

(Sorry, I know this is a little preemptive but I'm excited for multiple reasons if nothing other than getting away from school for the weekend!)

Sweet! Thanks Nanci! I'm following you now too! Hopefully I'll get to post something interesting this weekend!

Goof luck! Watch out for the crocs, venemous and especially "him" (he likes swamps):

I think you goofed and meant to say good luck :spinner:

Have fun in the swamps, KJ is a great guide. I think back alot to my last trip to Texas with KJ snake and gator "hunting". The photos of us with gators ALWAYS sparks a conversation when people see them. It was a blast and I will always remember those trips to his and Kasi's. I wonder if Jean Lafyeete is still there?

I really did mean to say it, it being good luck...guess I'm the goof!

Ooh, neat! I'm following you now. I'm @KCSuzy. :) You don't have to follow me back - i'm pretty boring and I usually talk about work and sports. LOL

Well it ended up raining the whole time, but I did get to do some good herping in KJ's new snake room. Pictures to come in the General Chit Chat and Photo Gallery forums soon ;)
