hiya guys i just got a cornsnake infant for my birthday and am using the heatmatt that i used to use for my scorpion but it has no dial or anything and it only feels luke warm, is that normal or should i get a new heatmatt? if so how much r they:confused: £
 
You should get some thermometers and put 2 on either side of the cage, One on the warm side and one on the cool side. The cool side should be between 75 and 85 and the warm side from 75 to 85
 
temp readings

hi just wondering when trying to get a reading of temps with a uth should i lay probe of thermometor on tank bottom where snake will be laying for digestion or should i get the reading from the side wall? thanks gail
 
well my heatmat is only reaching 81 'F at the warm end but i am getting a new tank tmoz coz the one im using has high feet:awcrap:
 
ok ive put a lamp at the side of my tank which puts the warm end upto 85'F and the cool end to 75F

perfect!
