Heat on both sides???

Right noe I have a hatchling about 12in. long and I keep him in a 10 gal. tank. I have a under heater on one end a lamp at the other. I just to know if that okay or if I need to make some kind of change.

Thank you,
Dillo

Sounds OK for OK for a start. Do you have anything to check the temperatures on both end of tank. One at the warm side where a one hide should be and another at the cool side. (Warm side should be around 80-85 degrees and cool about 70-75 degrees)

And do you have fresh water in about the middle of tank??

The lamp is for your convenience to see the snake, not really for the snake or a heat source.
Like I said it's a start.

Good luck with your snake and ask if you have any more questions.

Lennycorn is right about the temps (at substrate level), but you should try to achieve the warm-side temps with the UTH alone, and ditch the lamp. Lamps dry out a viv considerably, and low humidity causes problems. If you want the lamp for lighting, use a fluorescent bulb that gives off very little heat. Place a towel over the other side of the screen top to retain humidity. Water bowl size and placement can also be used to regulate humidity. Good luck.
