Heat. What do you use?

Hi, kids. I have a bunch of snakes and I usually let mother nature take care of my heating needs. But now I find the need to heat my snakes earlier in the year and was wondering what YOU use. I use the Flex-Watt heat tape with a dimmer switch for my eggs and the babies until they eat four or five times. The problem with that set up is as the ambiant temps increase so does the heat tape. Like I go to work in the morning and it is 60 outside, 65 inside and 80 under the snakes, when I come home it is 80 outside, 75 inside and almost 90 under the snakes.
I want something better without spending a fortune. I need to get my breeders ready to breed sooner.
What do you use? How many snakes do you keep? And do you breed snakes to sell? Help me out.

I recommend you purchase a thermostat (or however many you need) to keep your heat tape from getting too warm. That's probably the best way to control the temperatures precisely. Without something compensating for the temperature, nothing you buy will solve your problem.
