my vivarium seems to be the same heat throughout the tank and im starting to get worried about my snake.
shes always in the warm end, so she must ok with it.

im using a digital thermometer on the cold end, and a normal round dial thermometer on the warm end along with the bulb n thermostat, but how high up should i measure the temperature and what can i do to prevent it?

HELP :(:(

How big is the viv and what are the exact details of your heating system, and what regulates the heat, and how and where are you measuring it?

i think ive just this minute solved it lol.
im waiting for the cold end to level out abit, but it seems to be goin the right way.
i think the bulb i had in was way too powerful for the size of the tank and it was just heating up everywhere, and secondly, our heating is on 30 degrees c, so i turned my radiator down in my room, i ent bothered if i get abit cold, at least my snake will be ok :):)

To me the vine and the light bulb are to close together. I don't even like the idea of the bulb IN the viv.

But I'm not a fan of that type of heat anyway.

Sorry for the No help.
