Heating question..

I got some great advice when I asked some questions on my introduction thread and thought I might get some more... I'm greedy, so sue me.

I am using a Zoo Med Small Repti-Therm UTH Under Tank Heater in my snakes tank. It is 20gal. and I have the smallest version of this product, I think its the 8 something or other. I have seen chatter about a rheostat and understand the need for them but I have also read that more recent under tank heaters do not necessarily need a rheostat for them. Is anyone familiar with this product and if so is a rheostat required? Of course it is reccomened but I am a poor musician and if what I have is fine then I wish to keep it that way and avoid extra expense..

Thanks!!!

I found the info I was looking for on another thread... I guess I should have looked before I asked. Oh well! Live and learn!

Glad to see you figured out.

:-offtopic I think you may want to think of a different Goonies line for sig (as much as I love that movie). From what I know about the community here I don't think it is going to get a great reaction.
