I have been kinda bad with the heating for months now. Ever since my corn has been in his bigger tank and has grown more i still have this small heater that only covers like 1/8th of a tank where could i get a UTH thats about a foot in length. (half of the cage)

Not sure what size tank you have but 1/8 is too small. I would say you need between 1/4 to 1/3 of the tank bottom. I would say 1/2 is too much. You should also use a thermostat or dimmer switch to help control the temps.

Just my thoughts....

ZOO-MED has this one:

Item Number: RH-4
Size: SN
Dimension: 6" x 8" (15x20cm)
Wattage: 8
Gal Size/Color: 10-20

You can get them at Petco or Petsmart for around $20.00. They are what I use on my 10 and 20 gallon tanks.
