Krazy About Snakes
I just measured Molly with Snake Measurer and she is 23.35 inches long. As far as I can tel she is about a year old. Her weight is hard to get since I don't have a digital scale yet, but my analog kitchen scale shows her to be about 50 grams. I feel this is too small for her. She doesn't look emaciated or anything. Should I put her on an enhanced feeding schedule? Right now I have just started her on 2 fuzzies a week. And ideas?

I'm not a great photographer with the equipment I have but here is a pic of Molly.

She looks fine to me. I wouldn't worry about her. Corns grow at different rates, just like kids do. There are tall, skinny kids, and tall bulky kids, and both are perfectly normal. My snow is also much more slender than my amel of about the same age, even though they are on the same feeding schedule.
Are you feedin her both fuzzies at the same time? If so, she is probably ready for hoppers.

I agree, she looks perfectly fine. I have a late '04 that's only about 28" and 90 grams. My other 04's are either at 3 ft. or over. They just grow differently.

Agreed, different snakes different rates of growth.

Example, I have an 8 month old Amel that last measured in at 28 inches with the Snake Measuring program. He's gunna be a BEAST... YAY!

He's been on Small Mice (Mice on Ice pet store stuff) but now I am just starting Rat Pinks which are the same size as the Small Mice I was feeding him.

And I have an almost 8 month old amel who is only 16 inches, but he is perfectly healthy in every way.
