Well I joined the forum about a week ago but never did the whole proper introduction thing...lol
So here it goes, My name is Tonya, I live in Jax, FL. I am married to a wonderful man who actually hates snakes but loves me enough to deal with them being in the house as well as giving into holding the smaller ones when needed....lol He even makes sure they have fresh water on the days I work doubles and if I get called in on feeding day he picks up the mice/rat pups....such a sweetie. Of course that is where my 3 great boys come in because they are the ones to actually get all the snakes into their feeding containers, feed them, and return them to their tanks (under hubby's supervision) Well our current collection is (and I am not sure what all the 1.0 type stuff is so if some one wants to clue me in on that it would be REALLY APPRECIATED...lol) I am newish here after all.

Female.....Mouse....Abbey
Female....Guinea Pig.....Princess Buggsy

And currently 2 feeder mice and xsmall Rat that didn't get eaten on feeding day (didn't check for who was and wasn't about to shed before I went food shopping...lol) I know frozen is recommended and I am already considering it so please give me some time to make my decision before I get bombarded with lectures on my choice for the time being All the snakes are feed babies of what they eat so there is no imminent danger, I have time to decide what "I" choose to do. I am leaning toward frozen but part of my collection are wild catch/rescues I have purchased or taken in from others and they seem to enjoy the hunt and won't even go for a live mouse unless it is on the move. I had one that refused mice all together until I discovered it's love for lizards and started rubbing lizards on the mice and it took no time for her to just take the mouse no lizard help needed....lol
AND OF COURSE OUR VERY FIRST CLUTCH FROM OGGIE GURL!!!! We have her clutch of seven eggs set up in an incubator and watching it close since this is our first clutch I want to make sure I do everything I possibly can to make these new comers make it healthy and happy
We also believe Popcorn is Prego but not being experienced with this and Oggie's Clutch being a surprise I don't know how to tell for sure.....she shed tonight and I have read here somewhere that they do that before they lay the eggs but, can't remember where so I don't know how long before she will lay them if she is prego
Well that is my current zoo and am really looking forward to having my family expand in the near future with either more purchases or some hatchlings I can't part with....lol
