Hello everyone!
I'm jbax98, but you can just call me jbax.
Haha alright, I'll start a little more seriously.
I'm a proud owner of a VERY NEW corn snake. I just picked her up last night from my local pet store after doing hours upon hours of research. She is probably 12 inches long, and is a very pretty Snow morph. Stunning pattern consistency and bright pink eyes. I just moved her in to the tank I have prepared last night, and I am ready for a great relationship with a very exciting pet.
It is so tough not to grab her out right now and handle her, but my research shows that I should let the snake get a little more comfortable and acclimated to her new home before I provide a stressful situation like handling.
I have been a long time browser of these amazing message boards while I was doing research, and it feels great to be part of such a knowledgeable community. I look forward to sharing my snake's progress (no name yet!), and receiving extremely helpful information. Hopefully in time I will be able to provide information to new member's as I grow experienced.
Wish me luck with me and my new friend!
*Pics soon, she is burrowed at the moment*
