well, first of all i'd like to say this is a really neat forum. I first stumbled across it a few months ago, visited it often. Then i just started checking it out recently again.

The only info i know on snakes has come from websites. Does anyone know some titles of "must reads" for a corn snake owner? If so it would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty sure i'll be purchasing a corn, however i'll have to wait until this summer for housing reasons. So i have quite a bit of time to do further research.

Also, the pics in this forum are great! I was just wondering though, if someone could post a pic of their snake next to something measurable. IE, so i can better get a feel for their size. I've read they average 2.5-5 feet with record of like 6 feet. But still knowing that, i'd like to see a pic of a corn next to something, say a football to get a better idea :)

The Corn Snake Manual, by Bill and Kathy Love, is very good

I think everyone here will agree with Ricky - this book is the bible for corn snake owners.

Welcome :D
