Hello! I'm new to corn snakes in general, and joining this forum has already done a lot to help ease any worries I've had about my new pet. So I figured I'd introduce myself (and my snake)!

This is Maize:

He's a few-month-old butter motley that I got on the 29th at the Wasatch Reptile Expo. I was originally planning on getting a lavender, but I fell in love with this little guy the moment I turned slightly to the left and saw him. The only thing I didn't quite think of is how well he blends in with the aspen when I'm trying desperately to assure my stepmom that he hasn't escaped his enclosure, ack!

welcome to the forums, my Aztec corn is almost invisible in her Reptibark haha this is definitely the right place if your new to corn snakes :p

Hello and welcome! Great looking snake! Which vender did you get him from?

I got him from a store vendor named Pets-And-Such and not a private breeder--they were the only booth selling morphs I was interested in. Lots of bloods and lavenders and butters.

Yeah, one of the members on here was vending and had several caramel things but I didn't think she had any butters. Were lots of good looking corns there! Picked up three new snakes there over the weekend myself but no corns.
