Hello everyone!

TaraRawr

Learning so much!
My name is Tara and I just got my first corn snake this past weekend. It doesn't have a name yet...I'm kind of waiting to get to know its personality a bit before choosing the right name.

Well, I just wanted to formally say hello to everyone!! Talk to you soon!

Hi Tara and welcome to the site. You will find all kinds of useful information here.

To post photos you will have to find a site that hosts photos so it gives you a link. I use photobucket.com but there are others out there. When you download photos on whichever photo hoster you pick, you have to click on that photo and it should give you some links.. you need a link that starts with http://.. it might say "direct link".. then you go on here and click on "reply".. on that box you will see an icon that's yellow and looks like a photo of a mountain.. click that.. it will ask you to place a link there... put in the link that was given to you by the photo hoster for that photo and copy and past the link in that space. it will post your photos then.

A heads up.... it might be very helpful for you to read the threads that have "sticky" posted in front of them under each section on this site.. especially under the sections.. "husbandry and basic care" and "health" and "behavior". Use the search button on top to find other things out you might need. There is a vast amount of information on here and very experienced owners of corn snakes as well as breeders.

Enjoy your new baby..

Welcome. You have a very pretty baby there. What type is it? I'm still new myself & find it hard to identify the different morphs by eye at the mo. It's amel I'd guess??

I do not know what morph it is. I was told it is a snow, but that is all I know. It's nice to meet you, Dee Dee!

I thought snow when I 1st saw it but wasn't 100% & im still too shy of looking like an idiot to say lol. looks like I was right yay! :D

It's gorgeous anyway. I love amel based snakes. Hence I have a butter. I love the beautiful reddy pink eyes.

I have a picture of my baby butter in the photo gallery. It's headed "introducing my baby 'popcorn'" if you want to take a look. I need to put some new photos up as she's grown a fair bit now.
