hello, my name's Casey, I'm 15 years old, and I live in Alabama. I'm new to snakes (matter of fact I don't even have one), but I will be getting my first corn snake next saturday. I'm very excited to be getting one! I'm getting it from a local breeder that someone I know told me about. The only thing is.... I don't know what morph to get lol, they're all so cool.... but at the moment i'm favoring the creamsicles and the amelanistic (hope i spelled that right).
I also have several aquariums full of fish, (4, 55 gallon aquariums, and a 29 gallon aquarium) so the venture into the snake world will be different for me to say the least. I like to research anything i get before i buy it, this is why I came here, I think I've learned the basics, but I'm willing to learn whatever is useful.

Hi and welcome to the forum! Good to see more people from AL!

You should check out the reptile show (Dixie) on the 17th! You'll get to see all kinds of snakes as well as many different morphs. They also have lots of supplies including tanks, feeders(live or frozen), Under the tank heat pads, and thermometers less than the chain pet stores.http://www.dixiereptileshow.com/index.htm

I'll have to see if I can go to the reptile show. looks like it may be fun. Nice to know there is someone else on here in AL, approximately how many others are in Al on here?

There's a few of us :)

5 others than me that I can think of... Walter Smith and Buzzard are long time members and often have snakes for sale. If you search their names i'm sure you can find their profiles and view their websites.

sounds good, I've seen Ian's Vivarium before, very useful! nice to know there's at least a few other Alabamians on here lol.

Welcome! You have come across an amazing source of information. Have fun reading everything on here - I was on here almost 24/7 when I first found it! I hope you have fun with you're new pet.
