Yes, there really is a Kalamazoo!

I'm a healthcare worker from Michigan. I've kept everything from tarantulas to bearded dragons and collared lizards to piranha and eels. I've helped tend the snakes of others but never had one until recently when a friend got a lovely hypo lavender morph corn as a rescue and I couldn't resist.

My bf keeps poison dart frogs, which are a hoot, and we have one Bengal kitten who's a pain in the tuckus.

I have to ask, though, what is that number system everyone uses in their signature for their corns? 6.7 corns? 5.8? Where do those numbers come from?

Welcome to a fellow michiganian!! The numbers you see show the sexes of the snakes people have.

1.3.1 would mean 1 male, 3 female, and 1 unknown sex.

You'll find a wealth of info here in the forums, hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Michigander.
Congratulations on the rescue and please post some photos in the photo section when you get a chance.
I am sure I can speak for most..."love the pictures".

Welcome! Please post pics soon! I also have a nice hypo lavender. It is such a great morph. Oh, my wife is from Michigan too. I'm pretty sure she's insane!
