Hi all,

My name's Gemma and I got my first snake yesterday. She's a beautiful little Carolina corn snake, 6 months old and I've named her Elektra (it means "bright" which she certainly is).

I've been fascinated with snakes since I was a young teenager, I'm now 17 and I'm over the moon that I finally own one.

I'll post pictures as soon as I get them, she's spent the last 24 hours hiding under her cork bark but she's popping her head out every now and then and seems quite inquisitive although wary.
