Hey everybody! I just registered & have seriously been researching my butt off on corns the past week. I almost feel like I'm getting obsessed & haven't gotten one yet:)

But anyway, I've been pricing everything I would need like the terrarium/viv, substrate, heating pad, pinkies (& later mice) etc. I was planning on keeping the corn in my bedroom, somewhat close to a window (the blinds stay closed all th time). With all the research I've done so far, there's a lot of stuff on viv set-up, but not much on viv placement. So I'm wondering would keeping th snake near a window make his cool spot too warm? Any other advice you have for me is greatly appreciated!

Welcome! It isn't recommended that you keep the viv near the window, an inside wall is ideal because the temps rarely fluctuate.

I hope this helps!

Well it won't be right at th window, but in a corner close to it. Blinds stay shut all the time & the only time there's direct sun is in th evening during fall/winter because the trees are bare...what do you think?

As long as it is an inside wall he should be fine.

Here is a sheet I made up for another newbie, I hope this helps!
