Hello

Snickers

New member
Hello peoples of the snake universe! My name is Lauren and my corn snake is Snickers. He is a 10 month old okeetee (or normal, I will post pics later) who loves to come out of his 20 gallon enclosure and eats every Monday, NOMNOMNOM! He is adorable, and a perfect example of love at first sight. He's also kinda crazy... like me! :crazy02:

Welcome aboard, can't wait to see some picks of Snickers. Also, rather interesting name for a snake.

Yeah I know! Funny thing is I was going to name him Allistair but he is just too cute! I will probably name my lizard Allistair when I get him.

I know, I want to get a ball python eventually.... *scratches chin and stares thoughtfully at the sky.*

I've already planned out my next two snakes. Just have to wait for a little bit of expendable income. First will be an Amazon Tree Boa (omg I'm completely smitten with these guys. Their big devil/dragon looking heads and the way they "ribbon" their body. They're just amazing display snakes.) who will be named Wo Long, which means "Sleeping Dragon" and is the nickname of one of my favorite characters (also like, the most popular character) from the Three Kingdoms story. Then the second will be a Jungle Carpet Python whom the wife hasn't thought of a name for yet. We take turns picking what type of snake and it's name.

Um, not for sure, I might get one from my local reptile store. I found a breeder in Alberta but shipping is so expensive! When do you plan on getting yours?

Hi I'm new also. I don't have a snake yet but plan on getting one next month and am studying like crazy. My daughter and her room mate each have snakes and I got hooked.
