To me, it appears that it is an Anery, & possibly showing masque markers...in the belly..? (Possibly het for Bloodred...?)

Looks like a nice clean Anery!

Length and width of tail can sometimes help determine sex visually (Search Kathy Love's website for her sexing picture guide). The best way to know the animal's gender though will be to go to an experienced breeder and have it probed.

what colour are the eyes?

I find it funny that yours looks preeeeetty similar to mine, yet my pics i uploaded here people said it's a ghost =\

yours does seem to be a bit darker overall though, and mine is starting to turn greyish, but eh, who knows. Though, in my opinion, judging by the size of your snake, i'd think for an anery she/he'd be a fair bit more black and white/less pinkish. but that's me.

Most aneries lose the high contrast black-white fairly quickly. My first snake was pale pale tan and silver for the first couple years of his life, then turned black-and-gray. He's "just" an anery, and several of his offspring took after him in being lighter than is 'typical' but are still just aneries.

I've also heard though that some do the opposite, darkening as they age instead of lightening?

That's exactly what Liam did. He was an unusually light baby, and got darker as he got older.

As baby aneries age, they usually go through a somewhat 'brown' phase and the white tends to get 'dirtier'.
