Hi Elliott.

Can you tell us what size food it's getting at the moment and how often you feed it?

That way we can offer safe advice on how to increase the feeding.

We'll help you once you answer bitsy's questions, but for right now, I can help you with your grammar... :grin01:

"eny" is spelled "any" and is one word "anyone"
"don,t" does not have a comma, but an apostrophe - "don't"
"wot" is spelled "what"
"aml" is spelled "amel"
"mack" is spelled "make"
"with out" is one word - "without"

Always doing my best to help the youth of the nation succeed. Haha :grin01:

medium mice, one or two every 2 weeks.
thanks

I have bad dislexia. But he's 13 and last i checked all teens and youger folks spell like that. But that my opionin so don'tbite my head off

Try a regular adult mouse once per week for awhile. But keep in mind that some corns just don't attain "average" length, despite proper feeding. A properly fed corn will probably gain a small amount of length throughout its life, but I wouldn't expect a 2.5 foot four-year-old to hit 3 feet anytime soon, regardless of feeding.

Since loads of youngsters overhere spell like they are at MSN or typing SMS just out of laziness, it is easy to oversee the possibility some kid just might have dyslexia. Maybe he'd better tell beforehand he has a couple of times when posting, so frequent visitors remember and won't bother him with it. It is really annoying for frequent visitors to click and find threads like that all the time so some might 'overreact'.

About the small snake; I guess when a snake is 4 years old, a growth spurt won't be happening anymore when increasing feeding. Perhaps only if it has been suffering from a major disease or heavy neglect causing the growing process to stop..... I expect the mass going into chubbiness when gaining weight.... so how is it girthwise?

Hi Elliot, I have a four year old amel male and he eats a regular sized mouse every week. This week I did change a bit and give him two large medium, which he swallowed in no time. So I may try two regular next week, but you should probably start with one a week. I agree with Dean from all I've read he probably won't get huge. Mine is about 42". He was my first and I had a hard time believing he could eat big mice, so I gave him multiple pinkies for way to long. Good Luck, susan
:-offtopic To Snake5007 (the uncle???) I agree people on this sight seem to jump on the less advantaged. I apologize for all of us and any of us who offended your nephew.
At the same time for those who can construct a sentence, use punctuation...please do so. In the long run it only helps get better answers.

Duh... we were posting same time.... :bang:

I think three of us were posting at the same time. At least we also know Elliot is reading these suggestions. :) susan

hi, it's snake5007 again. thanks for helping my nephew. at the moment he's using my computer,so i introduced him to this forum because i know most of the people are nice. it's just a bit disappointing to find, that after his first post, someone makes fun of him without even getting to know him. i'm glad that the majority of people are alright. thanks again for helping him! :)

Ok Ok, my bad with the whole grammar correction. But I agree with Blutengel. It seems like no one can type a well written post anymore. But I'm sorry, I didn't know you had dyslexia. But that does not stop me from helping the youth of the America... or wherever. Haha
