OK, as I mentioned in my other post, (learn about her here) I think it's time to name our little girl. Since I sort of consider her a pet to this entire forum, I thought it would be cool and fun to have a little naming contest.

But first, I have to mention one thing.

I "think" she is a girl !!!! :shrugs: I refer to her as "she" and have done the "pop" test several times as described by Kathy Love and nothing "pops" :confused: I could have done it wrong, but her shape also gets narrow pretty quick after the vent which according to what I've read is also a good indicator that she's female (since there's no little boy thingies in there) SO, we'll say she's a girl!

Anyway, let the suggestions start. I'll choose a name at the end. I figure I'll let this thing go till the end of the week and then post a decision. How's that?

Oh, and let's make it a rule that you have to explain your name suggestions and where they come from. I think that makes it more fun and allows crazy 80's rockers like me and Galen to show our true colors!!!!!!

Speaking of which, my entry is "Charlotte" - named after my favorite harlot!!! (I'll leave that as a clue for you all to figure out where that one comes from)

I didn't get the "Charlotte" reference and would like to know seeing that a harlot is a **** ;)

The first thing that popped into my mind was "Vera", don't know why but somehow after reading the rocker reference, it doesn't seem quite the kind of name if you think of Vera Lynn
Will look more in depth like I did for my two "Freya" and "Hotei"

LOL. If you followed metal music in the 80's, you'd know Charlotte more than likely. Here's another clue. Charlotte's can sometimes be seen with her friend Eddie!!!
 
By the way, popping does not work with adults because their muscles have had time to build up and male might not "pop out". It works with hatchlings though.
The best way to know with an adult snake is to have her probed but only by someone with experience!

Freya's younger pics show alot of the same colors of mine. I suspect the background might move more toward a reddish color than beige as she gets older like it looks like with Freya! cool.

Funny, was about to put a comment saying that the first pic could almost be my Freya....LOL
By the way, do you know what Sencha is?
 
After my daughter found out I was doing this, she yelled at me for ignoring the "original" name Timmy.

Keep in mind that this was the name from the previous owner and when it was thought to be a boy (idiot in pet store said it was a male because of the bright colors!)

So, to make my daughter happy, "Timmy" is another submission.

well..........this is going nowhere real fast. so if you don't mind, i would like to get :-offtopic for a second.

first off........nice snake and pics. awesome job again on what you have taken in and done.

secondly.........i think she should be named Britny Fox - Britny is a girls name, the snake is "hot looking" like a fox and you could use this as yalls avatar:

Oooooohhhhhhhh!!!!!! Me Like!!!!!

That would be cool also because the original name "Timmy" came from my daughter's best friend Brittany! Not the same spelling, but hey - why not?!?
